7 Seconds Shawl
7 Seconds Shawl
This is a shawl with a triangular construction from top down; this means that we start from a few stitches above in the center and we are going to create the triangular shape by increasing at the beginning and at the end and also with a central increase of 12 stitches every 12 rows.
The shawl is divided into 7 sections delimited by lateral braids. In each section, you will work a single central increase (with its corresponding lacework) and a series of short rows on both sides to make the shawl grow more lengthwise than widthwise. This way we get a fairly large shawl that fits perfectly around the neck.
Once the 7 sections have been worked, we are going to work a decorative border of about 9 cm and we will close all the stitches with a two stitches i-cord.
In the pattern you will find videos of all the techniques used.
