One More Blues Shawl
One More Blues Shawl
This is a triangular shawl that is worked from top-down, you will start with a few stitches and end with a bunch (don't hate me).
In this shawl you will find several things:
- An intrepid and different cast on that may sound very strange to you when you read it, but don't worry because with the video you won't be able to work it.
- The increases are very easy, you just have to yarn over and then remember to work those yarns through the back loop (twisted) so that there is no holes on your increases. New section usually bring changes in the position of the increases, in this way we make crosses appear where there were none before.
- The crossings are symmetrical, the right half crosses to the left and the left half crosses to the right. It will be like this throughout the entire shawl.
- A border that you can adapt to make it more or less deep, thus making the shawl more or less large. This way you can control your yardage more.
- I-cord edges and bind-off. You will work the two stitches on the edges so that you create an i-cord along the entire length of the shawl and, to make it match, then we close the shawl in the same way.
In the pattern you will find videos of all the techniques used.
